Our Mission

The Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Initiative aims to enhance media literacy, critical thinking, and digital empowerment across diverse communities. Through research, training, and resources, we strive to equip individuals with the skills needed to navigate the evolving media landscape responsibly and effectively.

Leadership & Team

This initiative is led by Prof. K. S. Arul Selvan, a faculty member at the School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). With extensive experience in media studies, digital literacy, and information access, Prof. Selvan spearheads efforts to bridge the gap between digital access and informed media consumption.
