The Indian Railways has now rolled out its Vande Bharat sleeper\u2014a treat for travellers.<\/p>\n<p>Vande Bharat Express, also known as &#8216;Train 18&#8217;, has collected many accolades ever since it began operating on various routes across the country. The highly admired train is a seater version (chair car) that runs at a speed of 150-160 kph. Following the immense success of the seater version, the Vande Bharat series is all set to roll out its sleeper version.<\/p>\n<p>The seater version of the train is currently stationed at Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai and is undergoing a commissioning run. It can travel at a speed of 160 kmph, and the sleeper version can carry 823 passengers. The driver can be positioned here to commence the journey in the return direction. Unlike in a conventional train, one need not shift the locomotive to the other side to commence the journey in another direction.
