True to its motto – breaking the silence and representing even marginalized communities of the country – The Voices in the year 2024 published 71 magnificent stories from various genres.
It reported passionately on an array of issues from social changes to science and technology, AI to agriculture, immigration woes to music, the new genre of Indian railways and its achievements, from online gaming to the integration of OpenAI in Apple devices and also took its audience down the memory lane of heritage cities of Kolkata, Amritsar.
Traversing the length and breadth of the country from Kashmir to Kerala and from Gujarat to Jharkhand, student reporters of The Voices paid tribute to legendary Mahatma, rejoiced at the victory of 64 squares’ king, the Grand Master D Gukesh, resonated voices of women tagged infertile, of the tribal artists converging for the annual tribal conclave, dwelt into intricacies monuments across the nation, got its attendance marked in world’s largest democratic exercise – Lok Sabha elections 2024, celebrated the Durga Puja, told ways to invest that hard earned Diwali bonus et al.
The Voices vows to keep the winning streak alive. With the turn of the year, 2025 promises to be even more eventful and informative. Riding on the social media wave, The Voices now transcends across all the major social media platforms and looks ahead to strengthen its forte.
